Curated Sailor Moon VHS Set
The complete third season of Sailor Moon on authentic VHS tapes from the 90’s. This lot contains the complete Special Uncut Version of the Pioneer release of Sailor Moon on VHS. The tapes contain the original English dub of the show, which was done by The Incredible World of DiC. The Voice of Sailor Moon during this season is Terri Hawkes. Other names you might recognize include Karen Berstein as Mercury, Katie Griffin as Mars, Susan Roman as Jupiter, and Stephanie Morgenstern as Venus. Don't forget Jill Frappier as the original British Luna!
 
Special Uncut Version Specifics
 
Sailor Moon S was released on VHS completely in two formats. The As Seen On TV edit, and the Special Uncut Version. This version features different box art, which uses designs by official Sailor Moon animator Ikuko Itoh, who is widely touted as Sailor Moon's highest quality animator. Many collectors seek these tapes out simply for display purposes.
 
These tapes include the full version of each episode. None of the cuts that were made for television are included on these, which give them an average run time of 70 minutes. The TV Edit's average run time is 60 minutes.
 
The intro song is still the English version, however the intro video used is the Original Japanese Intro.
 
The episode titles match the original Japanese titles, where as in the TV Edit uses what was shown on television in North America.
 
Due to both the rare nature of several tapes, as well as the collectible nature of the slip covers alone, this set must be sold at a higher price point.
